Find snowfall totals and snow depth near you

Tracking snowfall can be frustrating. While most weather websites excel at forecasting snow, they often fall short when it comes to showing actual snowfall totals after a storm. My goal is to simplify and centralize snowfall data.

I pull data from multiple different sources of data, including the National Weather Service and the National Weather Service NOHRSC to create the easiest way to find the most accurate snowfall data in your area. Whether you’re checking snow accumulation, snow depth, or historical snowfall from recent storms, our site ensures you have the information you need in one place.

You can view the snow accumulation, snow depth, and snowfall for your recent winter storms as well as nearby snow reports from weather stations across the country. You can also view the snowfall forecast for the next two days, and see a map of the recent snowfall in your area. You can use your current location to quickly get a sense of the current snowfall in your area or you can search for any address or city to see the snowfall in that area.

Why Accurate Snowfall Data Matters

Snowfall impacts everything from travel plans to daily routines, and having accurate, up-to-date information is essential. While most weather sites focus on forecasts, knowing how much snow actually fell is equally important. Here are a few reasons why this data matters:

  • Travel Safety: Know how much snow fell on the roads or at your destination before heading out.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Accurate snowfall totals help you anticipate the need for snow removal or emergency planning.
  • Winter Activities: Whether you’re skiing, snowboarding, or just enjoying a snowy day, understanding snow depth and conditions is key.
  • Comparing Forecasts and Reality: See how closely snowfall predictions matched the actual totals in your area.
